I'm not talking about the kind of "losing a pet" where there is a chance that she will return kind of "losing a pet." I'm talking about finality. For some reason I have never thought about my beloved family member dying. But she did. Instead of allowing her to go through the coma, seizures, froathing I did the most loving and humane thing I could do. That was to allow her to drift off peacefully. God Speed Spookie Lou....Go toward the light! Ron is waiting for you.
